Eircom Westgate
Eircom have centralised their offices to a new purpose bulit-office block beside Heuston Station in Dublin's new Heuston Square area.
SSM were contracted by T. Bourke & Company in July 2006 for this project, and started on site in October 2006.
This project was a demanding design which relied heavily on new ideas from the consultants, with energy efficiency a prime objective.
This building is mainly a supply and return AHU (Air Handling Unit) ductwork system to floor void supply plenums, and hard ducted wall mounted return air grilles.
A simple and extremely efficient system that relies heavily on the use of the glass facia and triple glazed system to heat and cool this building.
SSM completed this 20 month project and were pleased when only a handful of items showed up on snag lists. SSM's snag-as-you-go system always pays off and always ensures top quality installations.
